I have a battery eliminator (charger) of a sufficient output voltage of 6V & 12V..
Now,the problem is that I'm very much confused about that the output voltage of 6V & 12V are A.C.(Alternating current) or D.C.(Direct Current)..
Please tell me about that...

there are two types of adaptors, AC output adaptors and DC output adaptors.
Now as far as chargers are concerned. they must be DC adaptors. cos from common sense, you can not charge a battery by altering the polarity of the charge. however if a diode is attached in order to eliminate negative voltage then it will have the a voltage which is distributed like the positive side of the sign function.this could still be used but it is not recommended.
the ideal charger is the trickling charger which provide high power output at the start and then soften the power with the progress of the charge.
isn't there any indicator about the output of the charger??
can you provide more detail as what do you want to use the charger for?? what type of battery? is it NimH ,NiCad, Lead accumulator??
